Cameron Park
Look at me! I can now ride my bicycle without training wheels! Cameron Park provides the perfect open grassed area to learn to ride a bicycle. The grass provides the cushioning you need when you fall off.
It only took me three sessions at the park to ride without assistance. The park also has pathways and a sheltered area for you to rest under after all your hard work. Georgina practiced her cycling skills around this covered area too.
This park is also a great place to gather at Anzac time to remember those heroes who fought for our country and those who continue to fight for our country. We have all attended services here.
This particular aspect of the park is significantly important to use as my great grandfather and my grandfather on my mother’s side fought for Australia.
There are also regular weekend markets at the park for all to browse through with a variety of items on sale.
