Fruit Sticks

Fruit sticks are a marvellous healthy party food alternative that children enjoy eating. They are easily made, children can assist and people of all ages love them. Please note, these are best made the morning of the party to make sure that they are nice and fresh. A variety of different fruits can be used, just look at the list below for a few ideas!

  • Grapes
  • Pineapple
  • Apples
  • Bananas
  • Rockmelon
  • Watermelon
  • Honeydew Melon
  • Oranges
  • Strawberries

If using bananas and apples you will need to pour some lemon juice (or juice from mother citrus fruit) over them to prevent browning or cut and add these fruits just before serving. Place the fruits in small bits in a bamboo skewer. Refrigerate so fruit is cool to eat especially on those hot summer days.
