Lobley Park
Lobley Park is one of the fascinating parks in Ipswich with its bush chapel and would be ideal for an outdoor wedding. But our favourite part was the playgrounds. We just love playing in parks and the special bonus was that my best friend (my twin) was with me.

We played on all of the climbing equipment and swings. We definitely wanted to spend more time there.

While the younger kids play on the playgrounds and in the little play house, the older kids can have fun too.

My twin and I especially liked the swing which required two. You each hop on and push off the ground. It sends you high into the air. You can see it below! It was so much fun but hard to get off!

Mum liked the fact that there were plenty of rotundas and sheltered areas to provide shade on those hot days. These as well as the picnic facilities, including drinking water and barbeques, make this park a great place for a family day out or a birthday party. With a half court and open areas for games the park is also great for active kids to release their energy in a safe and interesting environment. You can follow the paths on your skate board or scooter.

The park is wheelchair accessible and public toilets are available on site. Car parks are provided on the Lobb Street and Warwick Road entrances.
