River Heart ParklandsRiver Heart Parklands is the most recent addition to the extensive array of outdoor entertainment areas in and around Ipswich. This is situated on the Bremer River and what a fabulous place to visit. We were so impressed.
It comprises the boardwalk which is lined with posts along the route giving overviews about the plants. There are several picnic and barbeque area along with a waterfall.
We loved the statues around the pond. Georgina was particularly captivated with the turtle and the girl.
We were engrossed with the items found in 2006 and encased in the boardwalk along the river. This along with the information posts enabled us to learn so much about the early days in Ipswich when there was a wharf.
